Although I would have preferred the new edition outlining the latest version of GarageBand, this book gave me what I wanted. I was able to finally USE GarageBand, whereas before I couldn't figure out how to do anything with it. The "missing manual" idea comes through again! Sometimes, you just need to read the manual.I find that I can use this book more as reference material and I haven't read it cover-to-cover as I often do with books of this nature. Since I received it during a busy time in my life, I found that helpful. I know I'll refer to it often as I create new projects in GarageBand. If you're wondering whether or not to wait for the updated version of GarageBand: The Missing Manual, but you need to have this reference material NOW, I'd encourage you to go for it! You'll be glad you did.
