We love the 'A Dozen A Day' scales and practice books and didn't even know (until Amazon pointed it out to us) that there were songbooks from the same series. My daughter LOVES that she can play songs that she knows and that they sound good. The ratings for skill level are accurate for us (e.g., "easy" was easy to play and "intermediate" was a lot more complex).
